Paper Prototype
Today in class, our group succesfully video taped our paper prototype for our game. We used 3 pieces of paper one for our title screen, one for our loading screen and one for our main game screen. We used two sets of foods which were used for the 2 sample weeks we set for our prototype. The game consists of 52 weeks that you have to live through by using only locally produced food or food that is grown by the game player. Every time a local food is bought, your petroleum level goes down and cannot be replenished because of the fact that it is a non-renewable resource. The object is to live through the 52 weeks without running out of oil or money. I think our game is a game that closely resembles the book Animal, Vegetable, Miracle and can also be used as a good awareness tool for the world to see how we need to conserve our natural resources as well as eating healthy to live a long and healthy life.
